Network Marketing Central is a new online network marketing community. It showcases network marketers with their products and services in such a way that:

1. Networkers finally have a place where they can buy products from each other without fear of being recruited.
2. Unhappy networkers can find a new home with people they've checked out and connect with, and
3. The public might stop running the other way and perhaps start beating a path to our doors. After all, our products and services are state of the art – earth friendly, free of toxins and more effective than what's generally available.

As of today, the NMC Directory has 346 reps from 140 different companies and 6 different countries, from 18 to 83, part time and full time, single moms to retired lawyers. All are cooperating to make the industry strong, attractive, enjoyable and lucrative for ALL, not just for the few at the top.

What people talk about…

1. The profiles are warm and personal. They go beyond company name and product line. A profile includes a picture and personal tidbits that people often use in their buying decisions – such as where a person lives, how old they are, if they're single Mom too, or if they enjoy gardening. As well as hobbies, background, their product story and the reason they're in the business.
2. Star photo on the homepage – everyone gets a chance to appear for 30 seconds - and be clicked on.
3. The Product Ticker – a ticker tape that's like a mini-ad for products and services. Each rep gets at least one entry. The Ticker appears prominently on every page of the site.
4. Private mailbox. Every person who registers on the site (no charge), whether or not they're in the Directory, gets a private mailbox on site so they can contact anyone in the Directory and message back and forth.
5. The whole site is secure, and no email addresses or other contact info is given out. Reps receive messages from people interested in their product or business and they can choose to answer or not. Using the mail system to cross-recruit or solicit for one's own business or product is strictly prohibited and monitored closely by the whole community. Violators are blocked from the site and roasted on the home page.

Depends what you're looking for.

1. if you're looking for people to sponsor or for customers for your product or service, you register on the site and buy a 3-month subscription to the Showcase Service to get your personal profile in the Directory. This gives you exposure to all who visit the site. It also gives you a star slot on the home page, and at least one slot in the Product Ticker. Anyone who selects you from their Search Results or from your photo on the homepage or Product Ticker can send you a message. You'll get all such inquiries in your site mailbox with a notification in your regular email.
2. If you're looking to buy from other networkers or to find a new business home, register on the site free of charge and use the Product Ticker or the Search service. You'll be able to sort through the reps in the Directory depending on what's important to you, and send messages to whomever you're attracted to.

You can find out by going to the site, registering (no charge), and using the Search function. On the Search page there's a menu for Company, which lists all the companies represented by the reps in the Directory. Click on the company you're interested in and you'll get a list of whoever is in that company. If you don't see the company you're looking for, that means there's no one from that company in the Directory yet.

Other than having fun, we don't know. On Kim's blog of Oct 24th is the story of what Roxanne, a rep in NMC, has gotten out of it so far. Kim will be publishing results as they come in.

Register, buy the Showcase Service, and at the end of creating your profile there's a keyword section. Follow the instructions and your keywords will go tot the moderator to be approved or modified – usually within 24 hours. Once accepted, the keywords immediately appear on the Product Ticker.

So far, people have heard of the site because they are on Kim's mailing list, or in her New School classes, or they read about it in her blog or newsletter.

In the next few weeks Kim will start marketing it more widely – to people who service the network marketing industry, such as trainers, consultants and leads companies; and to people who operate general web sites or write blogs for entrepreneurs seeking home businesses.

An NMC banner will be available to put on web sites - for any Rep who is on the Showcase Service.

And who knows what next…
